 Downtown Minneapolis

Renata - Manager

Carnival Cruise Specialist
Princess Cruises Certified Expert, Commodore
Experience: 21 years

Specialty: First-timers going to Europe and Spring Break
getaways for families.

Renata is not one to sit still for long and that is reflected in her choice of vacation spots. She loves anything outdoors including hiking, skiing, and backpacking, in addition to "high-energy"; destinations such as New York and the large cities of Europe. During her many travels, she's made many friends along the way who have become life-long pals and traveling companions.

Renata's advice:

1). Read up! Do your homework before you go to know a little about what you will see. It will spark your enthusiasm and make the trip more enjoyable because of your anticipation and realized expectations.

2). Pay attention to your belongings and pack for security. The best way to ruin a trip is to have a purse or wallet stolen.

Mary's advice:
Take some time to learn about your destination, it makes the trip so much more meaningful.

 Eden Prairie

Starr - Manager

Princess Cruises Certified Expert, Commodore
Experience: More than 11 years

Starr is a busy mother of two, so is it any wonder she names Orlando, land of "endless fun and rides", as one of her favorite destinations? She also loves the ease of cruising-unpack once and see so many destinations. One of Starr's recent trips included Scotland and she instantly connected with the land and the people. "I felt like I had gone 'home'", she stated.

Starr's advice:
Keep in mind that the airlines are just the transportation to the vacation and bad weather is nothing but a minor inconvenience.

Kristi

Boating and going to the beach are two of Kristi's favorite pastimes so it's no surprise that she loves cruising and visiting Mexico and the Caribbean. She says of her recent western Caribbean Disney Cruise that it was absolutely amazing. "The ship, activities, service, staff, food, plus Disney's private island...it's magical!" Try an escorted or motorcoach tour. Tours these days offer more flexibility and free time. The best advantage is the people you get to know while traveling together.

Ellen

Ellen's advice:

Be an open-minded traveler. Not many things in life are guaranteed and this is especially true when it comes to traveling. There are so many situations that can alter your travel plans; weather, mechanical problems, road conditions, illness, etc. You have to be open to the fact that these things happen and try to make the best of it rather than letting it ruin your vacation.
