Goldy joins Safety Patrollers for Hot Chocolate, School Zone Safety, and Fun - AAA Minneapolis

ST. LOUIS PARK (Feb. 5, 2016) – The Minneapolis Auto Club Foundation for Safety and the University of Minnesota Gophers will host an event with Alice Smith Elementary School for young students to have fun while learning about School Zone Safety.

Students will be joined by Goldy the Gopher as well as University of Minnesota student athletes for hot chocolate. The elementary students will get to ask the athletes questions on school, safety, and sports. Later, the athletes and Goldy will join Safety Patrollers on their patrol duties, such as helping guide students through cross walks.
