Full time position responsible for coordinating MIS related operations and end-user support for Club Automation Systems including network access/security, oversight of Local and Wide Area Network Infrastructure and the first point of contact for employee computer issues.
Help Deck Support: Primary point of contact for end user support for computer hardware/peripherals, network access/connectivity, and general computer system functionality.
System Operations: Oversees the daily operations of computer hardware(servers/desktops), software, LAN/WAN and related network infrastructure to ensure consistent availability of all computer related systems including desktop PC’s, printers, laptops/tablets and communication paths.
Network Security: Monitors malware prevention applications/hardware to ensure the Club’s network infrastructure /essential business applications are reasonably protected from harmful interference/interruption.
Daily System Backups: Monitors daily/weekly backup/replication routines to ensure all business application files and data are available for recovery in the event of any system failure.
Vendor Relations: Interfaces with third party support vendors to ensure fully functional systems/applications in support of the general business needs or preferences of the Club.
Technical Resource: Provides technical assistance to Club Management in the daily administration of business applications/computer related infrastructure and as a technical point of contact to interface with support staff representing key Business Software Applications.
Planning: Assists Management with evaluating existing applications and projecting future infrastructure changes/upgrades/improvements.
Miscellaneous: Performs work of a miscellaneous nature to meet changing workload requirements.
Qualifications: Two years of college or related vocational technical training in the area of PC/Server support/administration (Windows environment), LAN/WAN infrastructure (Cisco Network Components), VMWare and Systems Security. Strong interpersonal communication skills and two years of computer help desk experience preferred.
