It’s a Great Time of Year

I know that the weather in Minnesota can be polarizing, so I recently asked some folks at AAA what their favorite months are in Minnesota. Although my sample size was small, I figured I would at least get responses that span across the four seasons. To my surprise, however, many people chose May as one of their favorite months of the year. Their rationale? May offers pleasant temps, mild allergies, few mosquitos and moderate utility bills (we AAA employees tend to be fiscally responsible). Mostly, the appeal of May weather is the opportunity to be outside before the weather gets too hot and muggy. They also noted there is a lot to celebrate in May like Mother’s Day (Hi, Mom!), the fishing opener, Memorial Day, Cinco de Mayo and even Star Wars Day (May the Fourth be with you…get it?).

Another reason people love getting outside during this time of year is golf, which is why we’ve profiled some great regional golf getaways.
