January/February

Favorite AAA Member-Submitted Travel Photos

  1. Our Travel Advisor Carri helped AAA Minneapolis members Brian and Nasrin Jewell book the trip of a lifetime. They were transported and inspired by their trip to Siem Reap in Cambodia.
     
  2. AAA member Linda Dolan booked a trip with our Travel Advisor Starr and took in the majestic sight of the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland while visiting her daughter who was studying abroad.
     
  3. Thanks to the help of our Travel Advisor Debbie, Bart Kosen shared with us the breathtaking beauty of Neuschwanstein Castle in Schwangau, Germany.
     
  4. AAA member Willie Oats and his wife, Lucy, frequently enjoy Royal Caribbean cruises, thanks to our Travel Advisor Dawn. On one particular cruise to Costa Maya, Mexico, they were able to take in the traditional Danza de los Voladores (Dance of the Flyers) ceremony.

March/April

Meet some of the AAA Minneapolis Team at our St. Louis Park Headquarters

  1. From left to right, our travel store staff, Mary Ann, Dan, manager Kim, and Mary Kay are travel gear experts and can help you find the perfect gifts and accessories for your upcoming trip, including passport photos!
     
  2. Pictured are a few members of our stellar driving school staff, including our driving programs manager, Chris, driving instructors Deb, Matt, and Cathy and administrative assistant, Sharen.
     
  3. We have a phenomenal team of insurance agents available to help with any questions. They also support our Minneapolis Auto Club Foundation for Safety.
     
  4. Our human resources super team includes Laura (left) and Shelly (right).
     
  5. Our membership team strives to make sure our members get all of their questions answered, and they’re also very active in the community; these gifts were collected for a Ronald McDonald House toy drive.

May/June

AAA Minneapolis member Larry Aus shows off his 1967 Dodge Coronet R/T

Larry, who lives in St. Louis Park, is a member of the Minneapolis-St. Paul chapter of The Wanderers car club. He and his fellow classic car enthusiasts meet every week to talk cars and cruise near and far to show off their wheels and meet other classic car owners.

Larry has taken his Dodge everywhere from the Henderson Classic Car Roll-In in south central Minnesota to as far as Branson, Missouri. Larry looks forward to spending time on the road in the summer!

Take a look at some of the School Safety Patrollers from AAA Minnneapolis’ archives

Since its inception in 1920, the AAA School Safety Patrol Program has grown into the largest safety program in the world. As school-age leaders in traffic safety, patrol members teach other students about traffic safety on a peer-to-peer basis. These photos were discovered in the AAA Minneapolis archives.

AAA Minneapolis’ Teen Driving Program has Served 2,500 Novice Students Since 2012

Did you know we offer a full-service teen driving program at our St. Louis Park headquarters? We are consistently ranked high in customer satisfaction and the AAA curriculum has been widely adapted by driving schools across the country as the standard for excellence and driver safety.

2019 Member Travel Photos

From the Mexican heat to frigid Antarctica, our Travel Advisors helped send our members on amazing trips and adventures all over the world in 2019.

  2. Sisters Emily and Stephanie Knight pose for a photo in Veria, Greece—they celebrated their graduation by traveling around Italy and Greece.
     
  3. Experiencing the beauty of Alaska from a thrilling perspective, member Linda Dolan and husband Paul (in the front of the boat) tackle white water rafting.
     
  4. AAA member Bonny Hunt had the trip of a lifetime—a BBC Earth Journeys to Antarctica aboard L’Austral.
