Zero Proof Holiday Mocktail: Caramel Apple Pie Mocktail
Do you love sweet and sparkling? How about apple cider? Try this twist on a glass of apple cider that will make all your dinner friends feel like they are drinking a classy concoction.
This recipe makes 6-7 8oz. servings.
Ingredients
- 6 cups apple cider
- ½ cup caramel syrup
- 3 cups sparkling water
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 apples
- Rosemary sprigs (around 6)
- Golden brown sugar for rimming
Utensils
- 6 Whiskey Tumbler/Lowball glass or 6 mason jars
- Pitcher
- Flat Dish/Bowl
- Wooden spoon
Directions
- In a pitcher, mix the apple cider and syrup until well blended
- Stir in cinnamon
- Cut the apples into thin slices and add them to the pitcher.
- Add rosemary sprigs and refrigerate for 20 minutes
- After 20 minutes have passed, pour in the sparkling water, gently stir it together
- Grab glasses and rim them with the brown sugar
- Pour mixture into glasses and garnish with apple slices and rosemary if desired
- Serve
Tips and substitutions
- You can substitute the sparkling water for clear soda
- If you want to substitute apple cider for apple juice, add 1 extra tsp of cinnamon, 1 tsp nutmeg, and 1 tsp allspice
- You can also add a cinnamon stick for garnish instead of moving the pieces of rosemary from the pitcher and to the individual glasses
