Zero Proof Holiday Mocktail: Zero Proof French 75

This clean, fizzy and fun drink belongs at every New Year’s Eve party. It’s both classy and sweet, the color goes with every theme and the whimsical rock candy with shine in social media posts.

This recipe makes 2 6-8oz. serving

Ingredients

• 2 cups of ice
• 3 oz. fresh lemon juice
• 4 dashes lemon or  orange bitters
• 2 (6-8oz.) bottles/cans of tonic water
• 2 rock candy swizzle sticks (clear colored/natural sugar flavored)

Utensils

• Cocktail shaker
• Champagne flutes or coupe glasses

Directions

1. Add fresh lemon juice and bitters to your cocktail shaker filled with ice
2. Shake until frosty, then divide into two glasses
3. Top off with tonic water until it reaches about ¾ of the way up the glass
4. Garnish with rock candy sticks and serve immediately

Tips and Substitutions

• If you can’t find rock candy, add 1 tsp. superfine sugar along with the lemon juice and bitters in the shaker
• For a fun look, you can wet the rim of the glass with sliced lemon, and dip in fine sugar
• Try using different colored rock candy swizzle sticks to not only change the color of the drink, but also the flavor.
