As a AAA Minneapolis member, you probably feel peace of mind when you’re behind the wheel knowing you’re covered in the event of most automotive inconveniences. AAA Discounts & Rewards

Our members’ favorite AAA benefit outside of roadside assistance is our Discounts & Rewards program. Members save an average of $170 per year using AAA Discounts & Rewards. With over 80,000 partner locations nationwide, savings are always just a few steps or clicks away! But how do you use it? Is it a process? The truth is, it could not be easier. In most situations, you simply show your AAA card to a participating business at the time of payment and the discount will be automatically applied.

Shopping

When you’re out doing your shopping at local gems like Arthur’s Jewelers, ERIK’S Bike Board and Ski, Mall of America or The Shoppes at Arbor Lakes, simply show your card to save instantly. There are plenty of online shopping options where you can save, including 1-800-Flowers.com, Dell, Chewy, Samsung and more.

Restaurants

When eating out at your favorite local restaurants, like Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. or Rainforest Café at Mall of America, Kincaid’s Fish, Chops & Steaks, The Oceanaire and so many more, members save an average of 10% on food. Roadside Assistance

When it comes to roadside assistance, most of our members already know they are covered when it comes to their vehicle needs. But are you aware of all the services that are covered? Outside of towing your vehicle, we are also here to help with:

Fuel delivery

Running out of gas is the worst—just give us a call and we will deliver enough fuel to make sure you reach the nearest service station.

Lockout service

In that dreaded moment where you realize your key is locked inside your vehicle, locksmith services are covered up to the limit of benefit.

Flat tire

If your vehicle’s spare tire is inflated and serviceable, it will be installed to replace a flat tire.

Battery service and purchase

Our battery service includes mobile battery testing, delivery and installation—and we will come to you!

RVs and Motorcycles

AAA Plus and AAA Premier benefits include your motorhome, pickup with camper, travel trailer, camping trailer and motorcycle, along with your motorcycle, snowmobile and boat trailer.

Bike service

If your preferred method of transportation is on two wheels, we can assist if your bicycle becomes disabled and you need a lift.

And most importantly, your membership follows you, not your vehicle. So, if you are in another vehicle, your membership will still be there for you.

Local AAA Office

One of the best ways to take advantage of your membership is to stop into your local branch office. No matter where you live, one of our four locations is likely nearby (maybe even down the street from you!). Once you’re there, you can:

• Meet with one of our expert insurance agents to get a free assessment of your current insurance to see if you’re getting the best rates. As an independent insurance agency, we can provide you with a free quote from several companies for a new policy. And don’t forget, you can save up to 10% on your auto insurance.
• Pick up some free maps or TripTiks customized for you for your upcoming road trip. Our famous TripTiks offer points of interest, construction updates, rest areas and traffic along your route. They can be accessed electronically or ordered in print for pickup at our office.
• Stop into our travel store and pick the latest luggage, travel accessories and books for your upcoming trip, along with some unique gift ideas. And don’t forget your AAA Road Kit to have in your car (and gift to others!). Members save up to 20%, depending on your membership level.
• Also in our travel stores, stop by for a passport photo (no appointment necessary) and get it for free if you’re a Plus or Premier member. You also have the option of receiving a copy of your photo via email.
• Meet with a travel advisor–we waive the travel planning fee of $50 and airline fee of $75 for members.
• Attend an event, whether it’s a free Medicare 101 class, a river cruise travel event, Social Security planning seminar or Solo Travelers Club meeting. There’s always something happening and something for everyone.
• Take a senior driving refresher course and save on your insurance.
