Ready for Anything
Last January, the Twin Cities experienced the coldest weather we had seen in decades. The bitter cold and frigid wind brought the community to a virtual standstill for four days straight, as schools, transportation systems and many businesses temporarily closed to ride out the storm. When temperatures returned to normal in early February, the Polar Vortex earned its place in the Minnesota weather history books. For years to come, people will tell stories about the Polar Vortex as we do with the infamous Halloween blizzard of 1991.
The weather in Minnesota can be daunting. That is why it is critical to prepare for whatever Mother Nature throws our way, be it cold weather, snow or icy road conditions. If the weather gets the best of your vehicle and you need roadside assistance, you can be confident that AAA has your back. AAA is the undisputed leader in roadside assistance as we have provided emergency roadside service to motorists since 1902.
As a member, it is important you understand our roadside assistance policies and member benefits. On that note, please be aware that severe weather may cause service limitations and unavoidable delays. In such cases, it is our policy to prioritize members who are stranded or in an unsafe situation. We are committed to serving our members and our goal is to get you back on the road as quickly and safely as possible. For additional details on our policies and the benefits of membership, I encourage you to review the member handbook that is available on our website and at our six locations in Hennepin County.
Happy New Year!
